Shale Hill Adventure Shale Hill Adventure Farm offers a unique training experience that utilizes both natural and man made obstacles to help build stamina and endurance that is unmatched with other training techniques. We focus on building a solid core that will enable you to increase your performance level for a longer period of time. We will make you mentally and physically strong enough to reach goals that you never thought were possible. We train everyday, rain or shine. We are not a fair weather group, but we do offer an indoor gym for those days that you just want to pump some iron or work out on our heavy bags.

Course Description:

Jill's Folly is an extreme adventure/OCR race with two length options: 50 or 100 miles to be completed within 48 hours. There is also a Team Division where 3 person mixed or same sex teams compete relay fashion in either the 50 or 100 mile options. Course officials will be at certain challenges throughout the course to observe you complete certain obstacles. In doing so, you will receive addtional ""credit miles"" for successfully completing an obstacle!!! The individual (or team) that finishes with the required amount of miles for their division is the winner.

Aid Stations:

This is self supported - bring food for a potluck and we'll have gas grills available!

Prizes:

Swag and gear prizes available for quickest individuals to 100 or 50 miles, and to the Relay team who complete the most miles.

Parking:

Parking is free!

Other:

No dogs, no unattended kids please!
For insurance reasons, support crew cannot run the course with their athlete, and must not complete obstacles! We will provide a ""crew map"" with designated meeting spots around the course that you can meet your athlete, provide aid and support on course - and of course, the base camp is the main aid station.

Team:

Team of 3. Course split into 2 legs. Trade off in any order that works for you and the team.
