Race Start Time:

Competitive division starts at 9:00am while the regular waves start at 10:00am. Waves will be at least 60 people every 15 minutes.

Pirate Plunder Adventure Race The Pirate Plunder Adventure Race is a 5k mile obstacle course race that combines ever changing terrain with 16 obstacles to test your strength, stamina, and love of mud. You’ll climb over walls up to 14’ high, crawl through a 100’ long mud pit, slide down a 30’ water slide, and face many other challenges all while running through a blend of fields, tires, and mud pits!

Course Description:

The Pirate Plunder is a 5K, 16 obstacle race that tests your strength, stamina, and love of mud. You’ll climb over 14-foot high walls, crawl through a 140-foot long mud pit, head down a 30-foot long water slide and face many other exciting challenges.

Aid Stations:

We will have at least two aid stations with porta potties on the course. Runners will be handed a bottle of water at the finish line. We have a trainer and paramedics on site.

Awards:

We offer awards for the top three male and female finishers in the competitive division.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome to watch the race. We have a designated spectator area that allows viewing of several of the obstacles.

Parking:

Parking is free to spectators and participants.

Post Party:

We have DJs at the start/finish line and we have at least one band playing throughout the day. We also have a beer garden, soft drinks and food are available.

Other:

The race is a signature event of the Yakima Valley Sports Commission, a non-profit organization that is a part of Yakima Valley Tourism.

We offer discounts for teams of eight or more runners!
