Race Start Time:
Saturday Adult 5K - Waves from 9:30am - 3:30pm - Waves will be every 30 minutes with runners leaving the gates every minute to cut back on the obstacle clutter -
Competitive Waves (The "In it to win it" Wave) will be the first two of the day, 9:30am or 10:00am. Winners will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony / After Party at 6pm at the event site, where they will receive a Cash Prize, Award, and a ticket to the 2014 event

Course Description:
Come and experience a 5k Military Style 20 Obstacle Course with lots of MUD!
Including: New Mexico's First 1/2 Pipe, Cargo Climbs, Fire Jumps, Mud Slides, Rope Climbs, Tube Crawls, Balance Beams and so much more!
Aid Stations:
There will be a total of 4 Re-Fuel Stations along the 5k Course - Each Station will be attended by 2 EMTs, either PowerAde, Dasani or Creamland Drink Samples and a Live DJ to keep racers hydrated and energized - And of course there will be a fantastic treat at the finish line!
Awards:
Awards Ceremony will take place approx. 30 minutes after the last runner arrives at the finish line, between 5 and 530pm, followed by the Budweiser After Party
Awards will be handed out to the top 3 Male and Female Finishers (any age). Each winner will receive a Top Secret Cash Prize, Race Ticket to Mud and Bud 2014, a Mud and Bud Award, Website, and Social Network recognition

Spectators:
Event Admission for non-racers is $5 Each Day. Available at the gate race day only
Spectators will be allowed to view the race from designated viewing areas....And don't worry we put the most exciting ones right in your line of sight!
Parking:
$5 per vehicle, cash only, organized by the Bernalillo County Horse Mounted Sheriff’s Posse
Bicycles will be let in for free and will have designated parking, but please bring your bike locks as nothing is guaranteed
Motorcycles will park for free and will have designated parking
Though the Parking lot will be attended throughout the event, parking will be at your own risk
Post Party:
The Mud and Bud run will host a Saturday Night After Party - Sponsored by Budweiser - The party will be from 5pm - 9pm and will feature cold select products from Budweiser, Music and Entertainment by New Mexico's own "The James Douglas Show", all while food, attractions and other entertainment are still available at the Event Site!
Other:
Saturdays Race and Event is to benefit the New Mexico Horse Rescue at the Walkin N Circles Ranch - 501(c) 3
Both Charities (Sunday too) are LOCAL, and all of the money stays in New Mexico! It is important for Mud and Bud to support the local community!

Team:
We invite everyone to gather up your mud buddies and create a team for the race - At registration you can create a team, name the team, pick a team captain and use a password to keep track of your team
Get crazy and wild and dress up in your best and outrageous team get-up, as the best team will win tickets to the 2014 race
There is no official score as each racer will be individual and the competitive waves are the fist two waves on Saturday - a team can be up to ten people - No better way to cross the finish line ""No man left behind""
