There will be 4 waves of runners/humans: 8:30, 8:45, 9:00 and 9:15 PM.

The 5k Zombie Run Runners will embark on an apocalyptic adventure. Face your fears as you run from the undead through woods and hell on earth. Runners wear 3 flags on a belt. Protect these flags, they’re your “life.”
Zombies are staged throughout the course ready to chase you and steal your flags.
Try to survive, if you can...
Lose your flags, and you’re INFECTED (but finish the race course as a runner, not a Zombie)
Prepare for walkers, runners, crawlers... and some surprises.
Look for Safe Zones at mile markers 1 and 2 with Water, and pick up an extra life flag!
Choose to become a member of the Zombie Horde instead, and polish your human hunting skills while adorned in true flesh-eating fashion, compliments of the event's expert make-up team followed by a visit to our Blood Splatter zone. Makeup is free of charge, though tips are appreciated!
The zombies are ready and ravenous for those that fail.

Course Description:

Do you think your look is to die for? We'll be the judge of that. Costume contest details: Costume contest to be held after the last wave has completed the course.

Parking:

Parking is $5 cash per car and is collected by Nathan Benderson Park.

Post Party:

Post-race apocalypse party complete with music, food, great vendors and a fun family atmosphere.

Due to limited lighting, we will only have photographers at the start, finish and backdrop area! Photos will be available for free download the week following the run.
