Course Description:
There will be 14 obstacles including mud pits. It is hilly, rugged terrain out in the canyon country of the Panhandle of Texas. This course will be tough with nature's obstacles and our own obstacles included. Be ready to test yourself! Run with the Best in the Wild Wild West!
Aid Stations:
Yes, one aid station on course and one station at the camp/main area. Yes, paramedics will be on standby. Water will be provided at end of race.
Spectators:
No spectator fee. There will be designated areas for the spectators but will be able to see parts of the course from this area.
Parking:
No parking fee. Yes carpooling is recommended if possible. Parking will be right next to where the race and booths will be located.
Other:
All proceeds from this race will go to charities. We will give to the American Cancer Society and also to 2 local charities, Furever Friends and Rescue and the Palace Restoration. There will be a kids race as well. Minimum age for the big course is 13. Ages 13-17 will need to have parent signature and parent present. No swimming will be necessary. No gear check. There are a few showers and restrooms at this facility.
