Course Description:
Whether you run, walk, skip or crawl, the GoGirl Mud Run is for women of all athletic abilities, who want to experience an empowering women’s only obstacle course and mud run. Don’t worry, GoGirl is less about the obstacles or your course time, and more about mud, fun and laughter. While you’re getting muddy and conquering obstacles, you can expect to laugh hysterically, bond with your girls, make new friends, and experience a huge sense of accomplishment, while helping to raise money for breast cancer research. We promise that it’ll be the most fun you’ve had in the mud since you were a kid. Some obstacles you might encounter include: Mud Crawl, The Hangover (Part 3), Tire Run, Water Slide, Hay Stacks, Tunnel Crawl, Dumpster Diving, Wall Climb, Net Climb, and Suprirse Obstacle.

Prizes:
GoGirl Mud Run is more inclusive than other fitness events, so there are no competitive-based awards. Instead, the largest team earns a special prize. Other fabulous awards are voted on by you after each GoGirl Mud Run. Look to the post-event emails announcing each prize competition and how to vote.
Spectators:
$10. Real men support GoGirl Mud Run, so yes your man, guy friends, neighbors, “clean” friends, kids and everyone you know can be a spectator. Spectators enjoy a day of fabulous entertainment for just $10 payable onsite via cash or credit (under 16 are free). This includes access to the party tent, bottled water, a beer or wine (for over 21) or soda-pop, and amazing spectating vantage points. Spectators can wander the course as long as they stay off the obstacles and do not inhibit the path of the participants.
Parking:
Free parking will be available at designated areas throughout the facility. Staff will be on hand to assist in directing traffic flow with parking.
Post Party:
Once the race is over and you have all the mud washed off, it’s time to make your way to the after party where there’s music, snacks and your complimentary beverage. There will also be other beverage and food items available for sale, so be sure to bring a couple of bucks.
Other:
A portion of each GoGirl Mud Run registration fee will go to Breast Cancer Research, so you can also feel good about helping with the fight against cancer. Let the mud begin!
We encourage fitness at every age, but the minimum age to participate is
13. Everyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign their
release waiver before heading down to GoGirl Mud Run. If you are under
18 and forget your waiver, we can’t let you participate.
GoGirl Mud Run provides a nice nozzle on the end of water hose, but if
your friend holds the nozzle high in the air then it’s just like a
traditional shower. It will certainly get you clean enough to be able to
participate in the after party. Our changing tent will also give you a
little privacy. Remember to pack an old bath towel to get you dry and a
garbage bag for your dirty clothes.
GoGirl Mud Run is fitness combined with fun. All fitness levels are
encouraged to participate and if you come with the right mindset, then
you’ll most likely be able to finish. If you can comfortably walk 3
miles you will be able to finish, however some of the obstacles may
prove very challenging (although none are required). However, if you
train just a little bit, then it makes GoGirl Mud Run that much more
fun.
There is no timing system, so bring a watch if you wish to get your
course time. It’s just you against the course. Go Girl Mud Run is about
fitness, friends and fun, rather than measuring yourself against others.
Many of us at Go Girl Mud Run participate in competitive races
throughout the year, and hopefully you will carry your fitness into a
competitive event in the future.
GoGirl Mud Run obstacle are always optional. Our obstacles are
creatively built to challenge a variety of skill and fitness levels and
we encourage you to push yourself a little outside of your comfort zone,
however, we all have our moments of doubt and we support your decision
to walk around any obstacles you are not comfortable with.
All of our water obstacles require ZERO swimming ability.
We like dogs and leave it up to you discretion if you wish to bring
Lassie as long as your city’s venue permits dogs. The event will be
crowded with around 2,000 people. Dogs must be on leash at all time and
the owner assumes all responsibility for their behavior, clean up, and
injuries caused by the dog. Misbehaving dogs will be asked to leave the
venue if they are inhibiting the enjoyment of others. Visit your city’s
location page to see if the venue explicitly prohibit dogs.
Worried about what you’re going to do with your pre-race gear/clothing,
don’t want to walk all the way back to your car to stash it? You are in
luck. A secure gear storage area will be available race morning near the
finish line where you can check your belongings while you go and get a
little dirty! While the area is secure, we ask that you not bring any
valuables (jewelry, etc). We also highly suggest you bring your own bag.
Team:
We don’t put a limit on the number of girls on a team. However, everyone pays their own entry fee. If your team has the most women registered then you will win a special prize. Other fabulous team awards are voted on by you after each GoGirl Mud Run.
