Course Description:
This 8km course is nestled in the Cotswold Hills and so provides challenging inclines and declines – as well as some of the best views around (if you have time to enjoy them!). Setting off from the bottom of the hill you will need to push yourself upwards conquering 31 man-made and natural obstacles as you go.
Thos obstacles include: The Ice Dip, Satan's Steps, Swamp Thing, The Giant Wall, Slippery Slope and Hay Bale Mountain
Combine rolling countryside, more than 30 wince-inducing assault course-style obstacles and enough mud to keep a fancy spa running for a decade and you get Devil Mud Run. A whole lot of fun and a tough, hell raising mother of a mud run for two thousand people who will descend onto this picturesque village just outside Cheltenham.

The Devil Mud Run has been hugely supportive of Winston’s Wish and we are delighted to be chosen as charity partner again. With more than £9,500 raised in February, we are hoping for an even bigger and better event in September. Every single penny counts and the money raised will make a life-changing difference to bereaved children, young people and their families. We’re excited to see everyone’s muddy faces in September and look forward to cheering you all on.
Co- Organiser Dan Harvey, 29, feared he would never walk again after breaking his spine in three places. Following an accident two years ago, in which he fell off a roof while installing solar panels, doctors were worried he would not survive and he spent months in hospital.
Before his accident he was the person encouraging his friends to take part in physical activities like mud runs, but suddenly that was all taken away from him. However, he has now returned to the mud running scene, just from a different angle.
