Course Description:
This is one of the most beautiful venues any obstacle course has ever been set in. 8.3 miles through mountains filled with redwood trees and ferns.
If the views don't take your breath away these hills will.
The obstacles are challenging and designed to push the athlete, though not impossible to conquer.
Aid Stations:
We do have a large Red Cross team throughout the course with several stations throughout the venue.
We will have water stations throughout the course as well as at the finish line.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcomed.
Please come, bring the family, bring your friends, bring folks you don't even know, there is NO charge for spectators.
Parking:
Parking is $6.00 per vehicle at the parks entrance.
Other:
Our event raises money to help out our wounded soldiers and their families.
The minimum age for our events is 14 - however, we also do offer two smaller events for our younger athletes. for our 4 -8 year olds we have a half mile and for our 9 - 13 year olds we have our 1 mile course.
Our 14 and up races are timed, you do not need to know how to swim, though there are shallow water obstacles.
We do have showers as well as gear check in if you'd like to bring a change of clothes.
