Course Description:
Be world famous as the World Famous Mud Run goes 'Back to the Basics' in 2015 offering more HARD CORPS fun! Over 20 obstacles ranging from steeple chase and cargo climb to sandbag overhead press and force protection barrier challenge. Be part of the event that inspired an industry!
10K+ - How HARD CORPS are you? Test yourself against fifteen obstacles including combat town and slippery hill and finish at the muddiest pit in the world.
5K+ - New to the mud run, or just like dressing up to get dirty? Run for fun and overcome nine obstacles to finish at the muddiest pit in the world.
1k+ - Get dirty just like the big kids. Kids ages 6–12 have the chance to test their might against six obstacles and finish at the muddiest pit in the world!

Six aid stations, BLS and ALS ambulance support and Naval Corpsmen volunteers.
Awards:
Female and Male age divisions are separated every 10 years as follows:
13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Active Duty Military – Female & Male Divisions: 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55+
Only the first two COMPETITIVE WAVES are eligible for awards.
Spectators:
Spectators are free along with free family fun zone.

Post Party:
Come for the run, stay for the fun at the world’s dirtiest party. Fun for the whole family! Fun for you and your friends! The World Famous Beer Garden and food options available onsite. One FREE beer (or bottle of water if under 21) for every registered participant (while supplies last). Free shuttle services provided to and from the event.

Event supports quality of life programming for Marines, Sailors and their families aboard Camp Pendleton.
You have the have the opportunity to race on the largest amphibious base in the world, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Run with Marine warriors on the course, in the venue and motivating you throughout.

World Famous Kid's Mud Run
This 1K kid’s mud run is perfect for the bite size runner of your family. The course features fun size obstacles and includes the World Famous final mud pit! Kids 6-12 are welcome to participate in this mini mud run. Kids receive a finisher medal and become part of the World Famous Mud Run family. Sign up your kids when you register yourself. World Famous Kids Run starts at 12pm. Leave no bite size runner behind, please be aware of wave start times and plan accordingly if you are running as well.
