Course Description:
Shadey’s Rugged Run is a 3.5 mile mud/obstacle course featuring over 17 obstacles designed to challenge participants as they run through mud, fire, water, walls and much more.
New this year is a timed wave dedicated to elite runners, another brand new “mystery” obstacle and more entertainment at the start and finish lines.
Aid Stations:
First aid stations and paramedics will be on standby.
There will be water stations through out the run as well as upon completion of the race.
Spectators:
Spectators are free however they need to pay to park.
They are able to purchase merchandise and purchase food provided by the vendors.
They are allowed to take pictures of the course however they are not allowed to enter the course.
Parking:
$10. Parking will be ten dollars per vehicle.
Post Party:
There is a DJ and there will be a food truck!

Shadey’s Rugged Run is entering its third year of operation to raise money for Charger Athletics and the Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
Over the past two years, Shadey’s Rugged Run has raised over $15,000 for CMN and $35,000 for Charger Athletics! Under the direction of Amanda Dowhen, an assistant professor in the Health & Physical Education department and utilizing the skills of a senior class of sport management students, this group is already beginning preparations to host a bigger and better event on Saturday,

Register 10 participants under your team name and the 11th participant's registration is free!
To receive your free registration, email the names of the registered 10 team members plus the name of the 11th member to adowhen@lbc.edu for confirmation.
