Course Description:
It’s bigger, it’s better and it’s muddier! We will have a challenging 5k or 10k for every skill level, and a free Mini Muddies Pit Play area for the littles.
We have around 18 amazing obstacles! Our goal is to challenge you and push you to your limits with a combination of running broken up by various military style obstacles.
Run through fields and forests, trudge through mud pits galore, experience challenging obstacles, and more! The Shasta Mud Run has something for everyone
Aid Stations:
We will have several water stations throughout the course.
Awards:
Awards will be given for the following categories:
Best Team Spirit Costumes
5K Fastest Individual Time – Men and Women
10K Fastest Individual Time – Men and Women
5K Fastest Individual Time – Under 12
5K Fastest Team Time
10K Fastest Team Time

Spectators:
There will be several observation areas where friends and family can observe the participants.
Parking:
Parking is $5 per vehicle.
You may prepay at the time of registration or pay as you enter. Cash only
Post Party:
There will be a FREE onsite After Party right next to the finish line. Live music from 1pm-4pm.
Food and beverages will be available to purchase from local food vendors. Beer and wine will be available to purchase.
Other:
All proceeds benefit the programs of Youth Options Shasta to provide services to youth and families throughout Shasta County.
Shasta County Youth/Peer Court, PlusONE Mentors, Shasta Youth Leadership Camp and graffiti eradication
Team:
Teams of 4 or more who register at the same time receive a 10% discount.
Kids Race:
Racers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult during the 5K.
Minimum age for the 5K is 6. Minimum age for the 10K is 13.
