Race Start Time:

9:00 am to 9:30 am - Competitive waves in 5 minute intervals
9:30 am to 9:55 am - Casual waves in 5 minute intervals
All Team Members must compete in the 9:00 am
Each wave will consist of no more the 25 participants. Last wave goes off at 9:55am! Don’t be late!

Delmarva Dirt Dash The Delmarva Dirt Dash is a family friendly 5k run that has a variety of different obstacles along its wooded, scenic path to push you to your limits. This event will help you conquer those pesky fears that have been haunting you your whole life; whether it's fear of heights, the cold, the dark, or even getting dirty. Delmarva Dirt Dash will help you face those fears head on!

Course Description:

Delmarva Dirt Dash is 5k course designed for ages 12+ and up that takes you through wooded areas and fields, over creeks and climbing walls, and of course… MUD!
Some of the obstacles to expect include, the tire wall, log carry, rope climb, V hurdles, tire crawl, mud pit among others.

Awards:

Custom awards for overall male, female and master’s winners.
Awards for top 3 male & female awards in 10-year age groups up to 60 & over.
Team awards to the top 3 teams.

Post Party:

There will be lots of great food for purchase, and a chance to exchange war stories.
Sorry, no alcohol at this event though. In addition, we are a smoke-free campus!

Other:

Proceeds from the run go to the GMS Athletic Fund, with 15% donated to the Cpl. Heacook Memorial Fund.
Register as a Silent Hero if you can't make this event but would still like to show your support.

Team:

A team must consist of 4 members and all 4 members must complete the course to qualify for an award. Awards will be based off of total accumulative team times
Team wave will start at 9am! All Team members must be in this wave.

Kids Race:

Runners ages 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
