Happy Friday from Mud Run Guide! This week, we're checking in with the OCR community to see how everyone is staying active during stay-at-home orders.

First, we have Megan, who is using this time at home to bond with her family through exercise. Staying active is great for your immune system and your mental health, so why not get the whole family involved!

One of the highlights of this current Stay-at-Home order is that I get to encourage my parents to get active. My dad has been taking animal flow, lifting weights, and taking the dogs for a long trail walk almost every day. Yesterday, mom came out and hiked up the ultra technical climb near their house. They’ve both been feeling under the weather these past couple days, wondering if they’ve caught COVID-19. Personally, I think between worry from recent family events, and the fear of catching this virus, they are falling victim to allowing inactivity to deplete their health. Remember, exercise is one of the BEST things you can do to stay healthy during this time. If your loved ones are spending their days in bed or on the couch, urge them to step outside and move. We might not be able to completely prevent how the virus is spread, but we can strengthen our immune system to keep us as healthy as possible during these uncertain times. #TrainingTuesday

Next, we have Luiz, who is staying fit by taking advantage of the many virtual challenges sponsored by race organizers. He completed the Bone Frog Virtual Challenge two weeks ago and already has his swag to show off… from a responsible social distance of course!
