Warrior Dash Area 51: Operation 26.2 to be an Out-of-This-World Experience
Chicago, Ill. – April 1, 2019 – Warrior Dash, the obstacle course race that 3 million have completed since 2009, today announced the creation of Warrior Dash Area 51: Operation 26.2 scheduled to launch in April 2020.
Obstacles
Located in the remote Nevada desert, near a facility commonly known as Area 51, Operation 26.2 will test the limits of obstacle course racing with a point-to-point marathon style course with 5 1 unique,never-before-seen obstacles including MartianMayhem , RocketsinFlight, Warriors in Mud, UFO-SH@? , and Desert Disaster.
Participant Swag and Medals
All participants will receive a Warrior Dash moon rock medal that doubles as a bottle opener in addition to an interstellar take on the Warrior Dash signature fuzzy helmet and a limited-edition Operation 26.2 t-shirt.
Festival
At no cost to spectators or racers, Warrior Dash Area 51 will include a live DJ, food and beverages, dancing, games and contests, ample shade from the desert sun and seating to refuel, and plenty of profile picture-worthy photo opportunities. Contests will include Highest Moon Jump, Best Celestial Costume, Best Beard, and more.

This sounds sick!
I always think it’s a bad idea when a company posts something people would probably really want as their April Fools prank.
Especially with the OCR community where 95% of your audience would love this as a real event. It’s not funny, just disappointing.
Disappointed….don’t put a challenge in front of OCR athletes and think it’s a joke.
