MuckFest MS is ready to kick off another season of racing in 2017 making stops in 12 cities in the United States. MuckFest MS is a friendly mud run for participants of all levels to enjoy a day in the mud and raise money for a great charity. Since it's inception MuckFest MS has raised over $25 million dollars for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Find out more about the full 2017 season below.
Experience the Muddiest Obstacles Ever: Big Balls, Triple Pits, Swing Set, Mt. Muck-Imanjaro, Flying Muckers, Crash Landing, & More!
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Event 360 are proud to announce the 2017 season of MuckFest MS, the 5K mud run series. This mud obstacle run features over 18 obstacles designed for any athletic level – beginner to advanced. In 2017, MuckFest MS will tour 12 cities across the country with stops in two new cities – Charlotte and Austin.
The MuckFest MS series supports people living with multiple sclerosis, and brings us closer to a world free of MS. 100% of fundraising dollars support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s mission to stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever. In 2016, more than 40,000 participants raised more than $3 million. Since its inception, MuckFest MS participants have raised more than $25 million.

Charlotte – Saturday, May 6 – Starting the 2017 season in a new city!
Boston – Saturday, May 20 & Sunday, May 21
Philadelphia – Saturday, June 3 & Sunday, June 4
New Jersey – Saturday, June 24 & Sunday, June 25
Denver – Saturday, July 15
Detroit – Saturday, August 5
Twin Cities – Saturday, August 19
Chicago – Saturday, September 16
Bay Area – Sunday, October 1
Austin – Saturday, October 14 – New for 2017!
Dallas – Saturday, October 28
So Cal – Saturday, November 11
The MuckFest MS obstacle course is built for laughs. The obstacles include: Triple Pits, Big Balls, Tunnel of Love, Shake & Quake, Spider Web, Swing Set, Flying Muckers, Walk on Water, Spill Hill, Muck Off, Skid Mark, Mt. Muck-imanjaro, Crash Landing, Tight Rope, Belly Crawl and more. Experience the obstacles here.
Participants are welcome to bring their friends and family to support and enjoy the festival area for no admission fee. Spectators get to cheer on the runners with a front row view of the messy, muddy action and kids get to play in the Lil’ Muckers play area. Once teams cross the finish line they get to celebrate their achievements in the MuckFestival area with an “after” photo and complimentary beer from Traveler Beer. The national MuckFestival sponsor is the Traveler Beer Company. AbbVie is the national sponsor of MuckFest MS.
“MuckFest MS is a fun, purposeful opportunity to support people affected by MS,” said Holly Messick, Vice President of Events for the National MS Society. “It’s inspiring to see individuals and teams come together to challenge and support one another in their fundraising efforts and through the obstacles on the course. Funds raised by participants provide resources, tools and breakthroughs for people affected by MS.”
