Course Description:
We start with our corn field, which is home to our Fall Festival Corn Maze, and flood it, till it, and bulldozer it to create a gooey, thick swamp of mud for us to set up the course!
Some Tips:
Tie your shoes REALLY good, a little duct tape wouldn't hurt to keep 'em on. If you lose 'em, there's a very good chance you won't ever see them again. (Who knows, they could sprout up in the field next year!)
Ear plugs are a really good idea during the race, and make sure to bring towels, flip-flops and a change of shorts for afterwards. Don't worry about the shirt - you'll have a sweet Farm Fun Mud Run tee to slip on after a quick, cold shower!
Expect to get wet & muddy from head-to-toe, so don't bring anything along with you that isn't waterproof (ahem, smartphones hate mud) and you don't want to potentially lose or get ruined. Of course, leave all your jewelry at home - this isn't a fashion show or a night out on the town!
While mud is the biggest obstacle (covering every square inch of the 7-acre farm) there are also some fun and slighjtly challenging obstacles to tackle! Walls, cargo nets, tubes, balance beams, tires of ALL sizes to flip, crawl through, run over, carry... you'll surely be ""tired"" of seeing radials for a while!
Simply put - if you're looking for an extreme, challenging course - keep looking. We created a course for safe, family-friendly fun and not for the weekend warrior who's looking to win... well, anything. There are no awards, no timers, and no attitudes. Show up and have fun, help others, and contribute to a family atmosphere - ok?
Aid Stations:
No aid stations will be available.
""Showers"" are provided - that is, if you consider cold water from hose a shower!
Vertuccio Farms features a great concession stand in the family area, or you can pack a lunch and watch the kiddos have a blast on the Extreme Bouncy Pillow, Train Rides, Slides and more. Please, no outside alcohol - this is a family-friendly event!

There will be a designated spectator viewing area.

Our kid's area is an attraction all by itself! Kids 4-12 can bounce, swing, jump, slide, crawl, climb, and even take a train ride while mom & dad (and kids 13 & up) are out playing in the mud!
The kid's area is fenced-in and manned by Vertuccio Farms employees and volunteers. We make every attempt to keep all the kids safe, and it is strongly recommended that all kids 8 and under have an older sibling or family member present.
